Cozy Pieces Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to all purchases made through Cozy Pieces and is intended to comply with applicable Canadian consumer protection laws.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Processing & Order Acceptance
All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
Processing time is typically 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and statutory holidays in Canada.
An order confirmation email does not constitute final acceptance of the order. Cozy Pieces reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order due to:
Pricing errors
Suspected fraud
Product availability issues
Payment authorization failure
If an order is cancelled after payment has been processed, a full refund will be issued to the original method of payment.
2. Shipping & Estimated Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times (in business days):
Region Estimated Shipping Time Canada 11 –15 Business Days
Delivery Time = Processing Time + Shipping Time.
All delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Under Canadian consumer law, delivery dates are considered approximate unless explicitly stated as guaranteed.
Cozy Pieces is not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.
3. Transfer of Risk
In accordance with applicable Canadian commercial standards:
Risk of loss and title transfer to the customer once the order has been delivered to the shipping carrier.
If a parcel is marked as delivered by the carrier, Cozy Pieces is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage occurring after delivery confirmation.
4. Customs, Duties & Import Charges
For international orders (including shipments outside of Canada), your order may be subject to:
Customs duties
Import taxes
VAT/GST/HST
Brokerage or clearance fees
These charges:
Are not included in product prices or shipping fees
Are determined by the destination country
Are the sole responsibility of the customer
Cozy Pieces has no control over customs fees and cannot estimate the amount.
If a shipment is refused due to unpaid duties or taxes:
The customer remains responsible for original shipping costs
Return shipping fees and customs charges may be deducted from any refund
If the parcel is abandoned or destroyed by customs, no refund will be issued
This policy complies with Canadian consumer transparency requirements regarding additional charges.
5. Tracking Information
All orders include tracking.
Tracking details will be provided once the order ships.
Please allow 2–5 business days for tracking updates to appear.
Carrier delays are outside the control of Cozy Pieces.
6. Address Accuracy & Undeliverable Packages
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
Cozy Pieces is not responsible for:
Delays due to incorrect or incomplete addresses
Packages returned due to address errors
Additional shipping fees required for reshipment
If a package is returned to us due to incorrect information, reshipping costs will apply.
7. Delivery Delays Beyond Our Control
Cozy Pieces is not responsible for delays caused by:
Customs inspections
Carrier disruptions
Weather events
Public health measures
Governmental or regulatory actions
In accordance with Canadian force majeure principles, we shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable Canadian consumer protection laws, including provincial legislation.
